When people think of the term “go green”, they typically envision tree hugging hippies. And that’s not the case. While we do our trees, eco-conscious individuals are just everyday people who live modified lifestyles that minimize waste in our environment.

And it’s important to note that nobody will ever be a perfect eco warrior. We can strive to be, but it’s impossible to live a 100% zero-waste lifestyle-and that’s ok.

There are, however, ways in which we can improve upon to be better stewards of planet earth. One of those ways is fairly simple—just swap everyday plastic items for eco-friendly versions.

What makes a product eco-friendly?

Eco friendly products are items that are either reusable, recyclable, sustainable, and biodegradable.

Eco-friendly products are very diverse and made of material such as organic cotton, bamboo, hemp, silicone, ABS plastic, wheat husk, felt, recycled paper, glass, steel, titanium, copper, wool, ethically sourced wood, and vegan ingredients. There are quite a few more, but these are the most common.

Below are examples of everyday and unique eco-friendly items made from such material mentioned above. And I bet that some of these items you didn’t even know existed—and I’m so happy to show them to you!
